This video details best practices when retrofitting a carbureted car for fuel injection. This includes wiring strategy / fuel system considerations and most importantly: The final product/performance!

In this video, I retrofit my 1977 C3 Corvette for fuel injection using an Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system (specifically, Edelbrock PN 35760). This is a bolt on 4150 style multi-port fuel injection intake that is easy to tune using Edelbrock's Android based E-tuner App.

Edelbrock competitors Holley Sniper and FiTech have similar system offerings and all (3) manufacturers are compatible with most Ford, Chevrolet & Chrysler/Dodge small & big block engines, including modern V8s also.

Nice video; I am doing a similar mod to my 1966 Mustang (302), any suggestions on engine cooling, fans, etc? I have very limited surface area in this application, so I am worried electric fans will not be adequate.

Great video. Wiring is definitely a tricky part of any build and there are SO many options for every section and peice of a builds wiring. This is one of the better group of tips.

You could make a numbered list of wiring tips like this for retrofitting vehicles very massive, but you seem to know your way around summarizing information concisely.

Really impressed with this one. I look forward to keep seeing videos from you on general problems you've solved, like this one was in many ways.

I had no clue Edelbrock had a kit like that, with the tablet. I'm not one for classic American engines too much, but the fi and the tuning kit seem very impressive. And the video was great too.

Great video and great build! 👍. Did the same work on my Mustang 69 and the system is truly great! 2years in now and have not one single issue… Tried both Sniper and Fitech before and those was horrible.

Clean install. I like that it still looks stock on the outside……..nice cam choice by the way……..nice idle without being too choppy.

Even though this video is from two years ago I find it very helpful. Thank you for putting this video up on Youtube. I did not know about the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 Fuel Injection system. I bought the Fast EZ EFI 2.0 system and have had lots of problems with it. It was so bad I took it off my car and went back to a Holley Carb. My system learned in the wrong direction and running was progressively terrible. (Back firing, code errors, ETC.) I am going to give this system and EFI another try.
