GIRL'S SURF TRIP IN MENTAWAIS

Hey everyone! I recently spend 10 days in the Mentawais with some girlfriends and we had the best time. Some people who don't know better say the Mentawais is not friendly for long boarders or girls, but we went during the shoulder season when the waves were smaller and scored some really fun waves.

The Mentawai is not only for mad surfers, it is one of the last truly remote regions of the world to have indigenous tribes still living the way they did thousands of years ago. With amazing untouched jungle reserves you can do trekking tours and visit the indigenous villages lost in time.
