Sounds awesome! That is my go-to setting for my snares. They sound great. Perfect balance between pitch and crack. I use a 60’s Star 5x14 wood shell and a Tama Metalworks 6.5x14. That tuning works well for both

Absolutely my kind of snare sound, have a similar tuning but my batter head even goes to 330 hz, but love it

i just use an impact and tighten the rods until they wont go any further 😊

For me, keep the batter head tight and the snare side even tighter, then don't overtighten the snare wires as this chokes the tone!

I don’t even know what I tuned my snare drum in but I have perfect pitch so high and accurate I just like it high is all because MOAR REBOUND

I broke the resonant head of my Tama Starclassic Mirage snare drum trying to get up to 400 hz, bruh😂
