I am originally from North Carolina. We love our “Duck Donuts.” The first shop opened in 2007 or 08 if I’m not mistaken. In a place called Duck. It’s located in what’s called the Outer Banks in North Carolina. (Ocean)
But yeah my ex husband and I would have a date every Saturday morning at Duck’s Donuts in Charlotte North Carolina.
I just recently moved to Charleston SC. I need to check and see if there is any around here.

Mom made donuts for my brother and me once every 4-6 weeks. She was a RN so we were only given treats occasionally....until high school 😅 glazed warm donuts and she'd pop them under the broiler for a amazing sweet crunch. I love this place. Thanks again.
