Your a genius. I've been trying to bevel a path after converting it to a mesh and it won't bevel along the length, rather the ellipses, now I can just use a shape so this is a huge time saver. Thank you!

Shorter version after some issues:
- Mesh Curve must be laying flat on the ground facing up.
- Mesh Curve Origin point matters. Object > Set origin > Center of Mass Surface > Bounds.
- Sometimes best to make your Spline 2D first, then move/bend it to avoid squashing.
- Enable Curve Tools Addon to allow bevelling of two selected points.
