I have a 2018 and so far, no complaints at all. It's been a very reliable vehicle----super miles per gallon, Zero Gravity seats comfortable on long trips, zippy around town, could use more power on the highway for merging, but once up to speed, no problem passing on interstates. Plenty of space for how small it is on the outside. These used to be a well kept secret for entry level crossovers, packed with features, low price----but they've caught on, and are selling quite well for Nissan. The redesigned 2025, due this Summer, is going to be a huge hit.

I love my Scarlet Ember, 2024 Nissan Kicks SR! It’s absolutely smooth driving, great on turns, LOVE the Bose speakers, easy to use infotainment system, love the LED lights, cargo space fits my needs, AND super fantastic gas mileage!

Much prefer the 2024 over the redesigned 2025.

When you said how easy it is to put the tonneau cover back, I laughed because I bought one for my SV and installed it myself. It took me a while to figure out I had to slide it in on the right post first; then slide it on the left. Once you know that, it is easy. But you can't just stick it straight back and put it on. It won't go. Therefore, I knew you were going to struggle initially. You asked about gas mileage. I get great gas mileage, much better than Nissan claims, especially on the expressway. By the way, I love the generous sun visors. You mentioned the wonderful visor features, something I really love. They move to the side and there is an extension to help block the sun better. I need that feature on the expressway at 7 a.m. when the sun is low and shines through the driver's side window. I did not know the seatbelt adjusts. I have to try that. You should also tell viewers that there is a digital speedometer and many other nice digital readouts (such as tire pressure). It also tells you what song is playing on the radio. You keep saying that there are people out there this would be perfect for, so I guess you aren't one of them. I also disagree with you about the technology. The car is loaded with safety features and digital readouts (and all my sensors work well). The only thing it is missing is power seats and power hatch for the cargo area. And the cargo area is generous. It is one of the aspects that attracted me to the car. My only concern is the transmission, but only time will tell with that. Thus far the car has been fine.

this color combination in the exterior with volcanic gray and interior seats with light gray and black looks really premium for this vehicle, I wish Nissan had this combination for the new 2025 Kicks

I think you should have clarified trim level when you said 28k price point. Nissan Kicks and Hyundai Venue are amazing cars for the price.

You say towing is up to 1000 pounds----but Nissan doesn't recommend towing with the Kicks. I'm sure you can get away with bikes or something light weight. Towing 1000 pounds, especially in the mountains, would be very hard on the CVT and engine for that matter.

The base model does not have heated seats right?

Hey Tom....would you ever have any reservations about taking this vehicle on an expressway/freeway where the speed limits are above 65 mph and non stop driving with as small an engine that the Kicks has? I sure like this vehicle. Thanks. Kevin

for $28000 dollars you might as well just get a base honda crv or toyota rav4
