This song came out the year before I was born (80) and it shows the reason why that year had some of best black music ever despite the white Disco sucks campaign. They tried to kill black music but just like when Elvis tried to do the same thing 20-25 years earlier, the artists adjusted and put out songs like this. Smooth ballads and dance songs that couldn't be duplicated. That's why R&B has stood the test of time.
