I had the great privilege to work with many Nam vets when I was in (79-83) one guy was Korea & Nam. They were all a great group of people and I feel fortunate to have worked with them and learned from them. I could never understand how the protestors who were so adamant about support our troops bring them home, and stop the killing. Yet when they came home they were treated with such disrespect. My belief is they never should have given President Johnson the Tonkin Gulf Resolution. It should have been the attack on the Maddox was an act of war. You either get a declaration of war and fight it as a war, or pull all your advisors out of there. A very, very, very, long overdue WELCOME HOME TO ALL OUR NAM VETS, from this Navy Vet. FLY NAVY!!!

I too was in the navy and served two Westpac tours 1967-68 and 68-69 in fighter squadron VF-154 the Black Knights, aboard the USS Ranger, best fighter squadron in the navy. BKR Baby!

Yrs ago I worked at ski resort met former German submarine commander who left Hitlers military and became US Navy submarine commander he gave me ski lessons iwas so bad a learner but enjoyed snowboarding 🏂
