Failed Again! Yarbo GPS Snow Blower Technology #technology #ai #diy #chores

Yarbo is basically a tank that can take different attachments up front. In this case, we have a snow blower, but it can have a lawn mower and even a plow. You cannot see how robust this unit is in the video and most people would think this is a toy. This machine is too heavy for me to pick up alone. It would take 3 people to steal it!

I have been working with it for some time and it is a very interesting unit. I think that it needs some adjusting and safety items removed for it to work at its best.

There is not a snowblower made that doesn’t have a problem with wet snow. I’ve had a 10hp husqvana, an 18 hp Ariens, 24 hp Cub Cadet tractor w/ blower & a Bobcat skid steer with a massive blower and wet snow is a problem. What I found helps at least temporarily is spaying Pam cooking spray on housing, auger & shoot.

Get the plow attachment, will solve your problems with wet snow like that.

Slow down the forward speed, increase the auger speed, and check the Snow Intake Effect setting to.

Wet slushy snow is a problem for most every blower (including Yarbo), but by tuning these adjustments you can optimize it.

😂 it’s a snow plow not a slush puppy cannon 😂 that’s why there is a snowplough attachment

Did you let Yarbo sit outside first and acclimate to temp? I’m thinking just about any snow blower would have issues with that snow. Which others ones did you try?

Remove half of the grid. Slow the speed and increast the blade speed and shoot speed

My Toro 826 Two Stage is a beast, and it'd have problems with wet snow if used like that...

The Yarbo is configurable to address such conditions. There are videos from owners showing excellent operation in wet snow.

Have you tried some or all of the following?

1) Remove some or all of the front grate.
2) Increase auger speed.
3) Decrease track speed.
4) Increase overlap.

I have a conventional snowblower and in haevy snow I only widen the cleared area by a few inches with each pass.
Heavy snow packs together well. That's why it's the best medium for making a snowman.

I see much good advice.
Decreasing the gap between the chute impellor & the chute chamber walls. Decrease unit speed. Increase auger & chute speed. Overlap the lanes more. All that seems like it might make this work out. Humans can do speed and overlap changes on the fly. Having to write various programs for various snow conditions.. sounds like a PITA. Maybe just do the job yourself and sell the robot to someone else who lives in an area that has dry, powdery snow most of the time is a better idea.

So why are you not slowing down the speed??? Owner error...

After having back surgery I am glad that this technology is bearing fruit

I've got a single stage 2 stroke that struggles with that stuff too. Plow it or a 2 stage 4 stroke.

Install a snowblower impeller kit on the Yarbo. At it's heart its a 2 stage snowblower. Making that gap between the impeller and the housing as small as possible is the way to drastically reduce clogging and improving throwing performance in wet snow and powder.

I think yarbo said you can remove the grates entirely. Also it look like you don't have the halow antena installed for some reason.

Those grate are a problem, reduce, speed & increase auger rpm

I think it's just the wet snow period. I just bought one waiting on my delivery. Maybe, you needed to wait a little longer before using it. I think you will figure it out along the way. I am sure Yarbo has saved you other times besides the wet snow. Good luck, you got this.

You can control the speed.. slow it down a bit.

If it didn't have the front grid-guards, I think it would work; but it never will. They will always pile snow in front no matter how you design them.
Maybe grind the front grids off and hope no kids are around. I'd be curious

This is what i was wondering . Thanks for your honest feedback not just the easy fluffy snow to justify your purchase and brag.

Few problems in your comments/usage. This is the same as any snow blower. That's also clearly very wet heavy snow. Remove that cage too - it's no help.
