Damn I wish the clip went on longer so I could examine how the colors changed this movie has amazing animation but I love the way the color palette changes in her universe to reflect emotion. They really set the bar so

This is like literally just the best opening to a superhero movie ever imo. The incredible setting up of Gwen’s entire character, the comedy that doesn’t even remotely distract tonally from the drama, the GORGEOUS art style of Gwen’s universe, the soundtrack playing over it all…

I mean seriously, this is debatably one of the best superhero movies ever made, but I don’t find it debatable that this is the best opening, I love it that much. Legit Spider-Gwen might be one of my new favourite superheroes.

Gwens bitch father: sees spidergwen save innocent civilians by stopping a helicopter from falling on them, but somehow believes that she would kill her best friend, despite there being reports of a giant lizard with rabies going psycho in the same room.


Miles GigaDad : sees spiderman right infront of his dead brother, and assumes that spiderman killed him, but later on changes his mind and accepts him as a coworker and even opens up about his personal life with him

I'm going to assume that she didn't want to hurt his father, also the fact she wanted to tell him for some time to make him see he didn't kill his best friend because she wanted to make her did this decision, because we all know that she could have done a lot of things, but she trusted her father which didn't end well for the both of them for some time, hopefully she can fix things with miles in the next movie
