I like how it only started out as a fun horror game with no lore, but it has evolved to 5 games and the lore is almost as confusing to fnaf lore

I think Rod is someone who has experienced school violence and the game is also reflecting a part of school and Sister Madeleine and the ice cream seller Rod's father is responsible for raising him. Game is reflecting our life . Very good game maker he helped us get more experience.

Actually you missed an important part of the It is that in secret ending of ice scream 3(after J gets kidnapped), there is that scene in which pictures of Rod's life appear while the van is taking J to the factory. Some important pictures were that Rod used to work at almost all the places shown in the game from part 1 to 3(and he used to go for school trips or whatever in camping).He also used to spy on J's father.

Fun fact: In IS4 trailer, J's cage is locked with an electronic lock, but after some testing, the developers decided to turn it to normal lock instead (you can see at 21:50). Also, in the very first beta test of IS4, J's manage to escape his cage with oil can by greasing the lock, but for now we use the wrench.If you watch the trailer carefully you could see it, it's on the left in quality control room (22:10)

You know what I always found stupid was the fact rod wanted to get chubby kids and not skinny it would make more sense since if he did that he would be getting revenge kinda like Jason’s story
