(HD) Big Country - Live in Germany - Aug 25, 1995 (Upscaled DVD)

Now in blistering 1080p Full High Definition
Recorded 25th of August, 1995 at VW Gelande in Wolfsburg, Germany while Big Country were supporting The Rolling Stones on the Voodoo Lounge Tour.

The sound is taken straight from the mixing desk and features no ambient microphones to pick up crowd noise, hence the relative silence in between songs and was mastered for this DVD by Tony Butler. No further sound correction or remixing was necessary.
The picture has been upscaled by Alan Anbari and is a thing of absolute beauty! Again, another big thanks to him for his tireless efforts in bringing us these gems.

It's a fantastic set and the band are clearly having a great time.
Mick Jagger once said of Big Country, "One of the best opening acts we've ever had."

Did you see the recent video with James Dean Bradfield on 'That Pedal Show' Channel ? Where he discussed his history and gear.
He says (in the section marked 'Early rock influences') "I think Stuart Adamson is probably as important to me anybody". Nice.
It's at around the 15:46 mark in the video.

I followed Big Country since seeing them on the tube. Saw them loads of times and recorded lots of their gigs including the 1st time I saw them at the Hacienda in Manchester in 1982 and Manchester Polytechnic after that. Greatest live band I ever saw. Have all the cassettes of wonderful memories.

1995-2025 30 years and yes we are still part of God's Great Mistake. In fact in those 30 years we have done more harm than ever before! Anyway there is an eraser for humans... climate change for example. Oceans are at work under the surface and less but not least WE!!! Hang in there while playing this concert! xx
