because the formula is distance squared, so, as the distance is the value of the hypotenuse and the value of the hypotenuse is ((.02^2)+(.03^2))^(1/2) you now square that, and you get ((.02^2)+(.03^2))

When calculating the distance between the charges would you not have to take the square root of 2Squared+3Squared? If not why not
