"Luffy's true dream revealed!".

Oda: No, no. Pretty sure I didn't revealed yet.

Can you imagine if Caribou gets his “Luffy will become the King of the pirates” moment because he heard his dream?

It's honestly very cool that Luffy sees the Pirate king as a stepping stone and not an end goal. He knows his dream is insane in world and knows he needs the influence and fame to do it. And the idea of Luffy wanting everyone to have the same freedom he enjoys as a pirate is so simple.

When you mentioned the Thousand Sunny witnessing Luffy's true dream, that made me realized just how sad Merry's send off was, Merry couldn't live to hear Luffy's dream...

I love Sanji's reaction to Luffy's dream! Their dreams were always similar. Trying to find something which is considered only a legend. One Piece and All Blue. His reaction was the one I found the most heartwarming and wholesome!

Considering that everyone laughed at Roger and he got to the last island, and Luffy got laughed at and he is seeking the last island.. the entire story is a laugh tale

Technically Momo wouldn’t know Luffy’s dream after reading the journal, only Roger’s. The only reason Yamato knows it is Luffy’s dream is because Ace told her accidentally.

Shanks told Rayleigh that Luffy said the exact same thing that Roger. He was probably talking about Luffy's dream. It would also explain why Rayleigh helped Luffy.

Something I loved about the chapter was the Oars jr. reference, with chopper saying that the cold doesn't affect him since he had the hat like Oars jr. in Marineford

If you didn't know. Luffys true dream is to help gaimon out of the chest.

7:25 I personally think Kuma might have used his power to send bonny away, either protecting her or following order (celestial). His power might be the reason bonny didn't drown being in seawater while also being stuck there unable to anything.

Today, finally, the animated episode "Luffy's dream" [Ep. 1088] came out.
It is the 17th of december, 2023 and 1 year since this video dropped.
I came back here because of the incredible feelings and chills that this episode
gave me which, in my opinion, together with the music that was played whilst
Luffy's announcement, is a big moment in history of anime which introduces
a peaceful atmosphere, but also the beginning of the end for the golden genueration.

I like how Caribou knows more about Luffy than us the readers💀

I saw a really nice theory on Reddit, that Luffy's dream is to unite pirates and marines.

All his life, he's been influenced by both sides. Garp and Shanks.

To do that, he needs to be the King of Pirates. So becoming the king could be a mean to unite both parties... becoming one piece?

Seeing Bonnie's new bounty made me notice that Nami, having the lowest non-joke bounty in the Straw Hat Crew, currently has a higher bounty than any of the Worst Generation aside from Luffy, Kid, Law, Zoro and Blackbeard

I feel so special to be a fully non-ironic Caribou fan, there's just this teeny tiny faction of us that are extremely well-fed and I love it

The thing about Luffy's dream is that it's so hard to figure out what his dream would be other than king of the pirates, because the only major thing about him is the D, but he's known this dream since before meeting Ace & Sabo so I seriously doubt it's something political cause that's just not Luffy's style. Hopefully it gets revealed soon!
Edit: People have really interesting ideas :D

Merphy Napier must be livid with Caribou being aboard the ship and clearly being setting to become a very important character in the future 😂

For some reason, the detail that stuck out to me the most was the fact that Luffy casually said his true dream, then when Usopp started questioning it Luffy was like "Wait... didn't I already tell you guys this?" Like he figured they would all know by now, but then realizes he only ever told Ace, Sabo, and Shanks...

Also, not to be a nitpicker, but if I recall correctly, Ace didn't laugh at Luffy's dream, he just went something along the lines of "I can't believe you said that out loud" while Sabo laughed. Still, the reactions to Luffy's dream is all really intriguing, because not only is it ridiculous, according to Usopp, it's literally impossible. I also like Nami's reaction of "yeah, that's a very 'you' thing to say".

As far as Lucci goes, I think it might be nice to see him go up against Robin in the end.
