GUYS!!! I made a mistake in the first example: @ 1:03, please divide 30 with cost price which is 70 (not 100). So when you divide the 30/70=0.4285
0.4285*100=42.85%.
So 42.85% is the Gross Profit Margin.
Sorry about the mistake and thanks for the guys for making correction.

(Profit amount / purchase price) *100. In ur example 30% profit u said for 70 rs worth item is 91 and not 100rs. Small correction replace sales price with purchase price.

I think Your mistaken bro ....
Profit = selling- cost
Profit %= (profit÷cost)x100
Example= cost -70 selling -100
Profit = 100-70
Profit= 30
Profit %= 30÷70*100
= 42.85%

Another way:

Cost-Selling Price, then press MU button. The number will be (-) ignore the minuse sign, and the number is your gross profit margin.

One more way:
(Selling Price - Cost) / Selling Price, then press %
