When discussing about environment variables, you need to tell user about global (system-wide)and non-global (user-specific) environment variables, which is very basic thing you did not cover.
Also you need to show users how to explicitly set environment variable globally ( system-wide) and user-specific.
Lastly you need to let user know the difference between setting env variable in profile or bashrc.
What I mentioned are just the basics of setting env variable, which could have been encompassed in 7 to 8 min of Youtube video.
