Thanks Mark for the feature. You solved it exactly as the intended path. The first step was to limit the combination of digits on the renban line by eliminating 7 from it. Next was to find the high and low digits along the long whisper line. A flawless solve.

This was a very enjoyable puzzle. I did the puzzle the whole way through without watching the video at all - and it was very fun! I felt very accomplished. It shows me how much I have learned from watching these videos and trying a lot of puzzles. Thanks, Mark, for this video. A very nice welcome waiting for me upon returning from a trip. Love this channel!

17:05 for me--nice to see how the whispers and renban interacted, which is to be expected from Akash, whose puzzles are always a pleasure. I've occasionally gone to his blogspot to solve puzzles over there--highly recommended for anyone who wants more excellent, enjoyable puzzles!

"Not unapproachable but really good fun" my hat! :) It was really hard for me, took me at least 20 minutes to get the parity right, and still didn't solve it because I messed up the 8/9 in the center box somewhere. It is a good puzzle, though, and once again we see just *how fast* Mark's brain works. Amazing stuff.

21:18 ... I'm glad it's not a competition, looking at the comments before mine. :)

Nice puzzle!

A nice little solve. Challenging enough to be interesting, but not so difficult as to be frustrating. It was fun figuring out the polarity of the lines. I completed it in 40:48.

16:35 for me. Smooth sailing after figuring out box 1.

Had to watch to 8:14 to confirm that I had done the right thing.
Although much earlier seeing that there must be one high and one low digit at the ends of the box line, instantly forced the renban not to start lower than 2 (and therefore to have 3, 4, 5 in it at least).

24 minutes and 2 seconds for me.

I have a fun coloring system for this kind of puzzles. For the low digits, I use the color yelLOW. For the high digits, I use blue because the digits are HIGH like the SKY. It's easy to remember. (For adult solvers, green would have also been an appropriate high color.)

27:46 for me. Time including breaking it and restarting.

36:14. I had to bifurcate it to see which one was high or low. Good puzzle. Straightforward solve by Mark to easily determine parity.

felt like there was some easy logic that I couldn't figure out for a long time

43:08. My biggest mistake was not noticing the 8 couldn't be on the consecutive line which would have lead me to concluding the high low easier on the main line thus giving me the placement of the 1 and 8 (well down to 2 possible pisitions) in box 1. Which finally when realized around the 33 minute mark, the puzzle then just started to flow

Wonderful puzzle. Quite easy but not in the least boring. I loved solving it.

79:53 that was fun, I'm feel like I'm getting better. At the very least I never felt lost doing this one. No mistakes and I made the same deductions as mark did (just way slower).
