I'm not sure the plugin is working in the video. It's buggy for me in Logic. Sometimes you need to delete it and start with a new instance.

You should do a first look a the first synth on the KVR contest can give really cool results but I didn't quite understand everything about it and seeing you explain would a lot ! Nice video btw :)

klanghelm saturation, , you can designate the frequency to saturate,  much better and free too
