Memphis music icon Sam Moore dies at 89

At the age of 89, music legend Sam Moore has passed away. Moore was half of the Grammy-winning duo Sam & Dave.

He personified more than any another artist of that era, what we liked to refer to as a Soul singer. You could not only hear but feel his sincerity but especially on the slower B sides, which we always knew we had to check. The perfect example of this just has to be ‘If I didn’t have a girl like you’ which was the flip of Everybody got to believe in Somebody.He was such an awesome artist. Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP ❤
