2022 was a difficult year for a lot of people and countries. However, the US actually seemed to do pretty well in the last 12 months. So in this video we'll run through the successes America had in 2022 and why the country actually kinda won 2022.

TLDR is all about getting you up to date with the news of today, without bias and without filter. We aim to give you the information you need, quickly and simply so that you can make your own decision.

TLDR is a completely independent & privately owned media company that's not afraid to tackle the issues we think are most important. The channel is run by just a small group of young people, with us hoping to pass on our enthusiasm for politics to other young people. We are primarily fan sourced with most of our funding coming from donations and ad revenue. No shady corporations, no one telling us what to say. We can't wait to grow further and help more people get informed. Help support us by subscribing, following, and backing us on Patreon. Thanks!

I wouldn't necessarily say won; just that everyone else failed harder

"Knee-capping one of your geo-political rivals for less than 70 billion..." Love this lol.

"Crypto as a hedge against inflation" now that's the best joke I've heard in a while.

Please keep this channel alive, this is something no American outlet would ever touch on, and it’s important news

Minor note, the Japanese currency is the yen while the Chinese currency is the yuan, with slightly different pronunciations, so it was slightly confusing, if you could just add something like the ‘Chinese yuan’ or the ‘Japanese yen’ would be helpful. Otherwise great video

The US has made more than they have spent on Ukraine. Most NATO and few non NATO countries have put in pretty big orders for their defence industry (Germany and Japan are planning spending $100 billion and $300 billion). Plus it's LGN industry is booming now, after being on life support.

As an American this was a much needed positive news boost to brighten the day a little.

Maybe the angle that TLDR US could take is a semi-optimistic one like this. That would certainly give it a unique voice among the other US news sources lmao.

Russia this year has pretty much been like Sideshow Bob in an endless field of rakes.

It's Yuan Not Yen, TLDR is still in confusion about the two currencies lol

Yuan is Chinese, Yen is Japanese yet both has the same currency symbol

It’s honestly surprising we came out better than most other rivals let alone allies

The video can be summed up as “Although the US is doing terribly, at least it’s better than America’s enemies!”

Americans are insanely competitive. We always think we are on the verge of collapse. It's the secret of the country's success. We never rest on our laurels because we don't think we have any.

Thank you for making this video. You guys are truly a top tier news outlet. It's so easy to be pessimistic in America with the political climate, so I'm happy to see some optimism and the good not overshadowed by the bad.

I hope you can keep this channel going. I would love your breakdown of our electrical system, this past few months have shown how fragile it is and how easy it is to fail.
