Hello Family Today I share with you some traditional activities, and beliefs in the Coastal African, Kenya

Hi from Ohio USA, Miss Dosha. I live in the city (although my aunt used to live in the country and raise maize (sweet corn) in her garden, and it was delicious! We pick, take off the green husks and the corn silks, and either boil it for about 12 minutes and eat it with butter and salt. We have many many different delicious varieties of sweet corn, and if you can't grow your own you can either buy it in the store or from a roadside stand or a farmer's market. Better than store-bought! But, here we buy corn🌽 meal in sacks, and sometimes corn 🌽 flour. Here, maize is the only thing we call corn. We make cornbread from cornmeal and soft tortillas from corn flour.

I love every one of your videos and the peace that exists among the Giriama people. The village I came from, you wouldn’t put anything away to dry from sight and expect to go and find it there. Good community you have. 💗

Watching your videos reminds me of how lazy I am! LOL! Seriously, I give all praises to the beautiful pregnant lady beating the maze/corn, I don’t know if I could have done that when I was pregnant! I enjoyed watching how you prepare for the local brew. I admire your work ethic so much. I am learning so much. I hope everyone who watches your channel subscribes and likes your videos.❤️

Greetings again my sister your drink is all natural, for us to get something that looks close to it we'll use a combination of things example soursop, cows milk or coconut milk, sugar or honey, water, spices like nutmeg and vanilla extract. All that we'll squeeze or blend then strain, put to cold in the refrigerator or drink with ice love and blessings

Hi miss Dosha, in my country that's Trinidad and Tobago our local brew is call "ba-bash or mountain dew".it's a localy made rum but it's illegal.I laugh when I saw the lady pour out some for the ancestors not of disrespect but in joy of the similarities of our traditions of Afica we continue to keep. Its a custom done by most of the African descendants in our island up to this day.GOD bless you and mother Africa🙏🙏🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
