A question, to make slow motion clips, can you do it directly from the camera, or does it have to be done on the computer using editing software?

I have just purchased a GoPro Hero 13 Black online. Black Friday deal a no brainer! At the risk of sounding an idiot, bearing in mind this is my first GoPro, does the camera overight the files on the SD Card? Do I need to transfer to the Quik App ASAP? One more thing, the magnetic mount. Do you advise using this whilst underwater. Something tells me this is a bad idea. Anyway, great video as always. Best wishes
