A variety of dinosaurs are cleverly brought to life in vivid animations with clever narrations to underscore the potential events that could have taken place in a specific area. The colorful cast of characters provide a number of informational tidbits, and viewers of all ages can take something away from the volume of facts directed at the audience. Am I the only one that absolutely loves the design and appearance of the Torvosaurus in this episode?

When you realise that the allosaurus was screeching like an elk when it was showing its threat display

Dude, I remember being like 5 years old watching this show. It’s such a classic. I’m never gonna get over the fact that this dude somehow survived his whole life with a broken jaw. Not to mention the fact that his mother bailed on him when he broke his jaw any he somehow still survived and even got payback later.

I feel so young, man.

29:28 What makes this scene tragic is that Broken Jaw’s status as ruler of the watering hole was literally the only thing keeping him going at that point. His family left him behind, he can’t hunt properly - his position was the only thing he had left anymore. And when Torvosaurus (Or Torvos (my name for him)) came along and snatched the Allosaurus’ title with his sheer brute strength…Broken Jaw officially had basically nothing to keep himself on a pedestal with anymore.

Regardless of any negative criticisms people have about it, Dinosaur Revolution has great moment of emotional impact.

Broken jaw as a kid: gets jaw broken by tail
Broken jaw as an adult: eats tail
Also broken jaw: gets saved by previous owner of tail.

David Krentz was a huge part of my childhood. And I love his dinosaur designs in Disney's Dinosaur.

Genuinely LOVED this episode and the whole show as a kid man! Torvosaurus is a criminally underrated dinosaur. I mean, Megalosaurus itself was the first dinosaur ever named! And these things were built like Tyrannosaurids.

I love the speculative detail of the Ornitholestes’ body running around after its head is severed from its body like a chicken, pretty cool concept that I haven’t seen before in a paleo documentary!
