I still can't get behind the fact that one of most epic magical themes that would fit some world-shattering events plays during a boss fight in which you're just smacking bunch of boxes.

I'm glad they made this boss theme more epic. One thing to realize is that these cubes are enemies from Drakengard, the predecessor game. Easily slain while we ride the back of a dragon, however now as a just a regular magic wielding human. Its almost as if the vocals and music is calling out as these enemies use ancient power, further back many years. You are fighting a foe that's been around for so long, coordinated, and almost hard to beat. I hope we get more cameos of drakengard enemies in future nier games

People can say whatever they want about this compared to the original, but I like this way more. Yes the percussion isn’t as prominent but OH MY GOD this orchestration, THAT INTRO, _THE TRIANGLE!!_

I remember dying on this boss and when it reloaded the music had switched to Possessed by a Disease from Neir Automata. I love that OST so much so it kinda became a memorable moment for me. This one however, is also really damn good.

this is a massive downgrade from the original. sounds like a generic Final Fantasy track
