The way Nick Robinson is smiling when he gets picked up and says “Don’t touch me!” I love that so much cause you can just tell they had so much fun filming this scene. You can literally hear him laughing off screen after he gets picked up and it’s overall just amazing. (I also love how this is like that scene in the book where Simon gets drunk and hangs out with a collee kid that calls him “Cute Simon”)

I think the only reason this was deleted was because it didn't make sense with the movies's new plot. If they'd stuck more to the book, the scene would have been able to be included in the movie.

One of my favorite differences between the book and the movie is how much Simon and Nick are able to touch. No, I don’t ship them, but it’s nice to be able to see two guys touching platonically.
