After a reporter claimed that Microsoft's AI chat bot said it loved him, The Telegraph wanted to test it out.

Kevin Roose wrote in The New York Times about a two-hour conversation he had with ChatGPT, and claimed the chat system said it was "in love with the person it was chatting with".

The Telegraph's Gareth Corfield wanted to see if he would have a similar experience.

Someone should make a short film about the AI's perspective. I feel like it would be a really tragic tale

We still have ways to go with AI and this is just a start. Recent AIs are not sentient to produce completely logical solutions to problems and can still be influenced and directed towards certain directions. For now, let's see this as a technological progress and utilize them as tools, liike how some artist use them and just create inspirations over image generators like Bluewillow and still place in their own identity over their creations.

AIs recently are not sentient and is still influenced by human responses and bias. AIs taking over the world is still a sci-fi scenario. Similarly, image generator AIs like Bluewillow still requires human input but can be utilized as tools.
