How to Get Windows 11 for Free in 2022...! (4 Methods I Know)

wait, am I missing something, any version of windows key works to get windows 11? So if I have Windows 10, I can upgrade to windows 11 for free? Or if I have a windows 7 key, I can upgrade to windows 11 for free with new hardware? I kind of don't understand that part of using the case or something?

I was told over the phone by MS in the UK that a retail Windows key is free to activate on a whole new system 100 days after the last activation, this was back when W7 was still supported by MS so not sure if the policy has changed or not since then.

Your 1st method is what I did accidentally. My father brought a dell pc from office to work from home. It came with windows 8.1. I logged in it with my account, and now it seems the key is saved to my account as whenever I login to my account in any new installation of windows, it gets permanently activated automatically.

I had a oem key from hp go bad awhile back from changing hardware and I'm running windows 10 home... has anyone tried to put a windows 10 pro key into a home edition and if so does it work? I'd be grateful for any help

what I did is when windows 8 laptop kinda forced me to create a microsoft account, the activation is saved to my account, and when I changed from a laptop to a desktop, I just logged in with my MS acct and it pretty much used the same code when I upgraded to win 10 and 11

I wish older versions of Windows worked for this. I still have an install disc for Windows XP a buddy of mine gave me back in college that didn’t require any key! He worked for the university’s IT department and none of their install disc required keys
