the guy selling the tv was such a chill guy, gave you a great price and wanted to see it go to a good home and gave you loads of info about it, absolute legend

That level of customer service and complete care throughout the order. Bubble wrapping, rolling out and assisting into the vehicle. I’ve never seen that before. Let alone the generous pricing. If I’m ever in Kentucky I’m definitely stopping there. Awesome people! God bless!

That shop owner is an absolute legend, what a genuinely decent person.

This shop owner is a real one. I appreciate him clearly stating that he wants it to go to a good home. A good friend and I actually pick these up for free to save them from landfills and give them to people who will use them for games. Glad this beautiful TV is going to get some use.

You know Caleb is getting a killer deal when he doesn't haggle at all.

YES CALEB! I have that exact same TV (the 24" version with remote). Drove an over an hour back in 2020 to grab it for $30. Make sure to use the component hookups when possible, but even if you just use the regular composite it's a great looking set

This brought back memories for me. I bought a Sony Trinitron the same time I got a N64 when it came out.
I’m just jealous that you find such amazing stuff in the states and that’s the place to be for collecting
I’m watching as I comment and I fixed my basement too with retro stuff and I wanted to paint the walls black but the wife was so against it. It looks really good!

I love what you are doing with the basement. It is definitely starting to look like the ultimate game room.

Calling a Sony WEGA the "Ultimate Retro Gaming TV" is about as accurate as calling a Toyota Corolla "The Ultimate Supercar"

I really want to support this store. These people clearly care and value video games. This is a wonderful showcase of good people working their passion.

Cool to see this video come up! I just found a trinitron on Marketplace recently 2003 version with the stand. Waited for close to a year with notifications on “Old tv”, “Trinitron” and “Sony TV” before I finally seen it come up! Awesome how much of a difference it makes!

I've been looking for this crt for the past 2 years now. You got such a good We need more footage of this masterpiece. To get better recordings you can turn down the shutter speed to 1/60th of a second.

Dang you even got the matching tv stand to go with it!

I found a very similar 32 inch Sony Trinitron 32FS210 on the curb being tossed about a month ago, I wish it had the remote
Control and the tv stand but it was solo, and pretty beat up. The picture in composite for gaming consoles is absolutely gorgeous though

"Wega is the Holy Grail of the... companies coming together"

"The stand was made specifically for this TV"

This guy really knows what he's talking about

I have several of these early 2000's Sony Trinitrons. I have the 20" FS120, 13" FS100, 27" FS120 (like this), and the amazing professional 14" PVM-14N6U. These are all absolutely amazing sets because they all have RGB Component video inputs which allow the most pure video feed from many retro consoles. I see you're using standard composite (red, white, yellow) cables to connect these consoles to your TV, but you really should try component (red, green, blue) cables with the appropriate cable outputs from the consoles. They're amazing on composite but truly striking when RGB Component is used!

Actually it pronounces “Sony Vega”, like Las Vegas, but without the S. I have a Trinitron KV-20FV300 and it’s an amazing little beast. It has Composite, S-Video and Component. Perfect for N64 and PS2. I love it.
