Watching the most English man ever interrogate the most Scottish man ever is comedy gold.

"I never thought I was buying anything, I thought I was renting." The way this sentence totally mystifies the opposing team for several seconds is just beautiful...

David has the most sound logical thinking that everything else is just absolute insanity to him

I love how he tried "Dimitri" on for size and instantly abandoned it for "Guy A". Like this added complication threatened to derail the whole story LOL

One of the great things Bridges isn't given credit for here is keeping quiet. Mitchell literally can't rein his outrage and disbelief in but instead of trying to justify himself or answer any of their many insults and constant interruptions, Bridges just rolls with them and often only smiles or shrugs or looks at the audience. It's actually a tremendous skill for an entertainer to know when to keep quiet, particularly a comedian, as they are always chasing the laughs. One of the main reasons this story works so well is that Bridges knows when and how to keep quiet.

i love when david says "cause that part is obviously bullshit" and kevin smiles because he knows that his plan to make people think it's a lie is working

"There was a bit of a communication breakdown, there was a Bulgarian guy trying to speak English, and two Scottish guys trying to speak English..."

Brian Cox, literally bent over in tears thinking he's lying and on his team, priceless.

A fine example of how badly the English underestimate a drunken Glasweigian on holiday

Rob's "For the love of God" and "Kevin, look at me" get me every single time. Seen this clip a hundred times and still makes me cry laughing

I've heard that this is actually heavily edited, because Kevin took roughly half an hour in the studio to finish the story. Hence why Rob is trying not to lose his mind lol.

Top 3 Wilty stories of all time:

1. Kevin Bridges - Horse Purchase aka Counterfeit Horse Scheme
2. Henning Wehn - Interpol aka Mohammed from Morroco
3. Bob Mortimer - Theft and Shrubbery aka Sniper's dream

this was by far the best bluff of a truth in the entire show, he stumbled soo badly well through it, it was impossible it was true

"A bulgarian trying to speak english and 2 scottish guys trying to speak english" is the best joke of this whole bit.

I am a Bulgarian and perfectly aware of the high prices we charge for horse renting on seaside resorts. A great story by Kevin!
