I always thought she sounded kind of young to be a mother, but when it was revealed the demon family was actually just random demons forced to play house, it made me realize something. This poor girl was still very young, and she was abused by her "husband" a lot. She just accepted her death, in fact she wanted it. She's lucky to fight against Tanjiro, no one else would've given her such a tranquil death. This show knows how to make the story behind every demon so heart breaking.

I freaking loved this episode. When Tanjiro saw how much she was suffering, so he changed his form to give her a painless death, is something that made me love Tanjiro even more. It– it shook me to my core man. Tanjiro deserves all the hugs and happiness in the world.
