I like to use the “Grands” biscuits whole. After frying and cooling a bit inject with vanilla pudding and frost with a little chocolate frosting (I use the can frosting) for easy custard filled donuts.

That's exactly how I have been making donuts for my children, but they liked to have glazed donuts. My mom would use granulated sugar. I used a cap to make my holes and I do reuse the oil as well. Thank you for sharing and I'll try just using powdered sugar

We’ve made these for years ! Always a family favorite. Have you ever done the same but using tortillas? I usually cut them in 1/4 before frying . Usually sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

I just cut a slit the stretch the hole. Cake icing is good on them so is pumpkin/apple/cinnamon and suger on them.
