DOES RISLONE RING SEAL WORK?

After trying to sort out a misfire on number 3 cylinder of my 2001 VW Bora, I tried Rislone ring seal

I just did the same thing tonight, then came to YouTube to see if anyone else had the same experience. 200k miles on my Volvo, developed a miss on 5. Pulled the plugs and 5 was a little fouled. Went to the auto parts store, picked this up (never tried it before) and added it, then restarted. Within 2-3 minutes miss was gone. I'm still on day one, so no idea how long it'll hold up, but for tonight at least, there's no more miss on 5!

Hi from South Carolina in the states! Yes this stuff works, I use 2 bottles in my truck and it does help with oil consumption and seals piston rings as advertised. I would use this over Lucas, Hyper lube, and STP oil treatment. I've done tried them all, and this is the one that seems to work. If you have an engine that uses a quart of oil a month, I would recommend this stuff but, use 2 bottles instead of one. Reason being is that if I only use one I have to add a quart of oil about a month and a half into the oil change. I added 2 bottles at an oil change and by the end of the second month into it had to add oil. So yeah it works to a certain extent. I will eventually need a rebuild but thus buys you time until it's time for a rebuild.

My old classic car engine was smoking pretty bad. I changed the oil and poured in a bottle of this thick oil treatment. Seems to work pretty well so far. Alot less smoke.

Hi thank you for the great information as I do have the exact same problem on VW Jetta 2010 misfire on one of my pistons plus oil came up to my plugs. Mechanic can't help just charged me. I would use it thanks once again bud.

Do not use in old 4 stroke bike motors, go straight weight instead.
