Tasers are also effective against dogs and animals, like in case of someone’s dog was attacking you or someone else.

I’d recommend the Taser X2 or the Taser 7. The X26 isn’t supported anymore and can only handle one subject, while the latter two can potentially handle two at once.

The dual lasers and warning arc on those devices are really useful as well for ease of aiming and de-escalation.

I carry the x26 on duty and the pulse off duty. I wouldn't recommend the taser pulse for on duty use. It's not designed for it. It's not built to the same quality. The x26 is a workhorse. They will last for years. I do trust my x26 with my safety and the safety of others. I don't trust the newer tasers as much. Also the cartridges on arms unlimited are green not yellow.

Operating a Taser with the E2 code is a huge liability. It will not record the firings accurately. Therefore anyone you tase can probably sue you for excessive force .
