Hey guys, wanted to leave a few notes.
1. The camera makes the wrap look a different color than in person. Its more gray in person. Not sure why it looks so blue on film?
2. The price of wraps vary based on size of the car, intricacy of the body shape, type of material (chrome/patterns/just color), and how much of the car is going to be disassembled, and if its a full wrap or just the side of a work van, for example. Most wraps cost between $800 up to $6, 000. So discuss the variables with your installer.
3. After 2 weeks, the wrap still looks brand new and I have no complaints. This video was about the "process", so I (we) could understand more about what it takes to install and decide if its something we would want on our cars or not.
4. You can do everything (almost) you would do to uncovered paint, including light light compound/polishing. (More videos to come)
5. Maintenance is exactly the same as uncovered paint. (Again, video coming)
6. And remember, this can be removed in 30 minutes. So it was a fun experiment and video series.
