Dude goes home and confidently sets the difficulty to hard on his computer.

This is how I feel when I beat the computer on easy difficulty

This guy has ascended to our level, the people who never lost to Magnus Carlsen.

The fact that this guy is so visibly EXHAUSTED even though he's been sitting the entire game just proves how much brain power and intelligence was put into his every move

I like it how chess people can look at that board and realize Magnus has lost already. I can't see it until my opponent tells me 'checkmate'.

Magnus: They will forget it soon.
YouTube recommendations: We don’t do that here.

It’s crazy how you can see exactly how he feels. First a rush of relief, then a realization of how exhausted it made him, and then it hit that he beat the world chess champion. That indeed must’ve been one of his best days.

I once had a 12 games winning streak on online chess and I felt miserable when I lost. I can't imagine what it feels to end a 125 undefeated games streak.

He does the gentlemanly thing of not smiling until after his opponent has left. Respect

Love how he controlled his emotions in front of magnus and later on how he expressed his happiness, pure respect ❤️

Missed opportunity for Magnus to say, "We will watch your career with great interest."

YouTube algorithm really got me invested in Magnus' career for some fucking reason. When I saw the headline that Magnus lost his game my first reaction was "WHAT NO WAY"

Takes me back to the middle school and high school tournament days. My heart would be pounding when i played higher rated opponents. Getting the win was such an enormous feeling of relief. But I've been in Magnus's shoes plenty of times as well. "He's got me, there's no way around it." Very humbling when you have to tip the king.

I know he was frustrated, but I would have loved it if Magnus stayed behind a little longer to properly congratulate the young player and analyze the game a little with him. Just as a little pat in the back for the incredible feat.

Magnus’s reaction when he lost looked like his reaction when he wins.
