But in my CS journey, data structures changed the way I think. If I were working with any development team, I would want everyone to understand the concept in-depth.
Non linear data a structure are my favorite.

In my view DS is important just because there are so many and many of those have bad read or write operation time. So there is need to pick and choose for your alto requirement.

Let me explain one scenario where you can understand the importance of DS concepts importance...not fully just a little bit

A week back I'm working on React JS & I'm practicing and my TL gave me little task of converting from one JSON format to another JSON format...input JSON format have duplicates like every record has year either 2022 or 2023 with couple of other unique fields

I used empty array & filter method but I don't know it didn't worked....later when i referred some code...that process blowed my mind

They used map method to iterate through values and just converted it into SET

Just a simple thing SET don't store duplicates which I never used to remove duplicates from an array 🥲 how effective and simple is that...i mean DS means it has other meaning but the concepts to provide to structure the data even helping like this
