LOL I cannot express my joy at you leaving in the boys on bikes and the scorn poured upon them, probably lacking something in their lives...

Would have loved to visit the stones as they were originally but was equally special when we visited. Lots of offerings and art in the trees around it if I remember.

Robert Bateman's painting the Dead Knight looks like a knight is lying near a mound tomb, or a mound with some stone entrance and its by a pool of water. Apparently there is supposedly some mound hills near the Bridestones on farmland and some have said the Bridestones an important part of a larger complex.

Reminds me of the letterstone with a rune on it in the middle of the woods.

The Red version of the philosopher stone is often referred to as the heart of the rose stone. when the stone is first formed, it's pretty useless powdery and this is the stone in the first degree, the next process of the second degree requires it to be hermetically sealed and kept at around 40 degrees, incubation to mature.... the ultimate goal is to repeat the process up to the 5th degree, which takes longer and longer each time as you add more philosophical mercury (the purified alcohol) and fixed sulfur (rectified oil). At this point, it begins to crystalize and go rock solid. But the alchemists and philosophers expressed that you can leave it there.... but there is a further process which they refer to as multiplication of the stone, and this process multiplies the strength of the stone, so if transmutation projections were what you wanted to use it for, this would times the strength by 10X, then repeating the process multiplies everything again, so 100X and so on. The methods vary across many of the alchemical manuscripts when doing it at home... but 4 different alchemists said the purest fastest and most potent way to complete the great work, is to use an ancient place of power, medieval alchemists had a literal place specially built into the floor of the crypt at the central point of the crossing, and so also directly under the alter of the cathedral. There is definitely some stones which remain in that special chamber. But no one can do that. So many people created follies, especially for this purpose... or you can hide or bury the stone at the Centre of any sacred place... and the best ones are the enclosed ones, even better if you can seal it shut too. burial mounds, long barrows, stone circles, chapels churches (maybe you know a vicar)... or if you a good dowser, find converging telluric currents and make your own chamber to hold and keep the energy circulating.... so it was perfect for these rich families, everyone was practicing some kind of occult mysticism and spirituality, alchemy would of been part and parcel to the process, especially going by the design of the garden and follies at Biddulph Grange, they proper went to town and had the ancient burial mound to use for the final and all-important part of the great work.
Great video as always Mr Philips, although i saw it when had them all uploaded a few years ago.
Have you found any new legends or mysteries to get stuck into or maybe a psychic quest on the horizon?

That stone in the wall stands for "Bridestones" ? ...it could be a psychic/energetic bridge from Bateman's land, bonding across to the Bridestones ...🤔

Consider this, you were in the ballpark with Shakespeare as a spy, only he was likely more of a criminal. He spent too much money to have come by it honestly. Nearly 200 pounds in Stratford for a house and land, 140 pounds for a house in London, a coat of arms for his father and shares in two theater companies. The plays were the loss leader up front while the real money was made out back. So who wrote the plays? The various scriptoriums with input and oversight by Lords and managers. With all of the rewrites and overwrites there never was a single writer so attribute the plays to the preferred pseudonym of the day. Good show, those Victorians were creepy with all of their magic and seaences and high strangeness.

The majority of the megalithic site was plundered to use as material to build dial lane (the road that the loud motorbikes were tearing down) the vast remainder was used to build the large house behind the wall where the "b stone" is situated. All of the large stones behind/on top of that wall are also leftovers from the structure. Of the remaining large 2 upright stones, there is one that has a crack running straight through the middle of it. This was due to a dynamite salesman wanting to prove the effectiveness of his wares to the quarry owners. Luckily it was repaired and back in situ. 😁
