People don’t realize how impactful this is to service members. They shit they go through and all they have is their buddies. It’s really a different level of friendship

I went in a road trip out West and got stranded. My dad served in the army for 4 yrs and made a lot of buddies. There was one living in Nebraska that offered to let me and my friend stay with him and his family until we could get sorted out. My dad hadn’t talked to him in over 10 yrs but as soon as my dad’s buddy heard we were in trouble he was more than willing to help. God bless

My BFF just passed. We were in the Navy together. I loved her with all my heart. This is how it is with all Veterans. I knew her for 37 years. Her name was Ruthie. ❤

That’s not friendship that’s brotherly love, that forged in fire while on the field thank you for your service

It’s amazing after 17 years they still remember each other. That just shows how impactful people are in our lives.

Two trained killers hugging and crying on each others shoulder. You can almost see the struggle the went through. Mad respect.

Those guys went through some shit out there. You can see all that weight lifted off of them when they finally let go

We need to see more images of men freely expressing their emotions and genuine love for one another. I couldn’t handle the pressure of trying to remain stoic in moments of pure joy.

I am the daughter of a WWII Marine Corps combat pilot. He didn't talk about the war very much, but I learned over time the price he paid for serving his country. I'm glad you both were able to reunite after so long. I hope you are able to spend more time together to support each other. No matter how much family and friends want to support you, no one can help you like a fellow combat Marine. Thank you for your service to our country. I spent many years as a nurse caring for Veterans hospitalized in VA Hospitals. I hope the both of you are able to successfully transition and deal with any problems from those experiences. Many of us appreciate what combat Veterans experience and honor your sacrifices for our xountry. Thank you, Marines!
My dad would also pipe in "Semper Fi !"
