Why Daniel Craig Sucks as James Bond

Daniel Craig is the worst James Bond ever. Might as well give me the role.

Daniel Craig pisses me off so much that I had to search 'Daniel Craig Sucks' in Youtube. I was extremely happy when I found this video and I'm glad there are others with the same opinion. Cheers for the upload Vaughn.

Totally agree.
It is an unwritten rule that you have to be tall dark and handsome to play the role of Bond. Craig is none of these. He seems to be trying to make up for this fact by being much more violent than the other bond characters. Previous bond characters also had a humorous and likeable side which Craig lacks.

I agree totally with this video. Daniel Craig is a terrible James Bond and has ruined the James Bond franchise. He's an action figure. A lump of wood. He has no personality; no charm, no charisma and is completely humourless. I prefer any of the other Bonds; Connery, Moore, Brosnan or Dalton to him.  But also the modern Bond movies are bad too. They move too quickly and are just non-stop action sequences like a computer game. Also, Craig's Bond seems completely sexless as well. The only woman he seems interested in is the oedipal mother figure of Judi Dench's 'M'.

Every time I hear about a new Daniel Craig Bond coming out, all it does is make me want to break out the old Pierce brosnan ones, back when they actually knew how to cast.

I swear the producers and Craig are simply being lazy and going the route of purposely being "opposite" instead of unique and clever. They make Q young instead of old. They cut out the gadgets to appease the kinds of fans who think comic book films are to be treated like Shakespeare. They have 2 Bond girls instead of multiple hotties. They have Craig say "do I look like I give a damn" about shaken not stirred. No one liners. No innovative mind blowing stunts. No humor. No cars. No Bond.

Plus, Jason Statham has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to show it onscreen. He's hilarious (and still tough as nails) in the Expendalbe and Taken films. Craig's Bond doesn't seem like a total package. He looks tough in the fights, but that's about it. He's a one note Bond; just has a stare like face and sometimes huffs, puffs, and sweats. That's not enough. If he was the original actor to play Bond, I highly doubt that the series would have become what it did.

Seeing Craig straighten his cuff sleeves after performing a train crash stunt that looks horribly CGI enhanced in the trailer makes one cringe. He simply can't pull off that kind of charming throwaway like Connery, Moore, and Brosnan could. His Bond has no sense of humor, charm, wit, patriotism, flirtation, trickery, and instills no "how is he going to get out of this?" type audience investment. He could have played the bad guy in Terminator 2 with the same persona he has chosen for Bond.

Yeah the Craig Bond movies really suck large. Not all his fault though... the plots are confusing and extremely stupid. And Craig fits right in because he himself is confusing and stupid.

My favorite was Sean Connery & Roger Moore. Daniel Craig does not have that "gentleman" feel to it, he's more like any other action hero imo i will even go so far and say Pierce Brosnan was alot better.

I wouldn't say he's the worst actor to play James Bond but he is the worst "James Bond" as in the character he's playing who seems to fail at everything especially being the best at what he does.

Daniel Craig starred in only 2 Bond movies that were any good. Casino Royale and Skyfall. Quantum Of Solace was a laughable piece of crap, Spectre was a boring piece of crap and No Time To Die was an overlong, boring, self important piece of crap. I’m glad he’s done. James Bond should return to being tall, dark and handsome and be a suave, debonair womanizer who gets his mission from M, flirts with Moneypenny, gets his gadgets from Q and goes on his assignment because it’s his calling. Not a dour curmudgeon who tends to quit a lot and looks like a Bond henchman. This Craig experiment was pretty much a bust. 2 movies in 15 years that are even watchable isn’t particularly good.

Everytime, I see people trying to defend craig's bond, the only defense they have is. "oh, he was like that in the books!!! he was like that in the books!!!" You know what....SHIT ON THE BOOKS!!! Yeah....I said it. I'm getting sick and tired of that excuse. Bond is more of an icon from the movies than the books. Sean Connery's Bond had emotions, and he was able to get the job done efficiently. Bond doesn't need to be a "heartless bastard" in order to be a great spy.

Only diehards read the books and most of that was because of seeing the films. Connery is the one who made Bond what he has become, and that is one of the most loved characters in entertainment history. Had Craig played Bond like he did in QOS when the original movies came out, there is NO WAY that the Bond films would have been still going strong all these years later. Again, he was great and new in CR, but old and stale already in the awful QOS.

the new movies should not be named "james bond".
