What do you think of the Argossean Observatory Extension?

EDIT: Because it's been mentioned a couple of times, Funcom didn't gift this set as usual, but not due to my previous reviews or feedback on past bundles. This video was recorded on launch day and, at the time of recording, the sets given to creators hadn't been distributed yet. I wanted to work on the review, so I bought it myself 😂 Other creators that review this bundle may have waited and had it gifted, but I decided to just buy it myself and produce the review ASAP

I bought this set instantly and love it, but just wish it came with 1) a double door, or at least a double archway, 2) fresco-style vaulted ceiling/corner vaulted ceilings to match the inverted corner ceiling piece we got, 3) a spiral staircase that goes the opposite way for symmetry, and 4) a side and middle piece for the skylight so I can make it bigger than 2x2. But now you've pointed out, we are in need of sloping sides as well. I can only hope these will be included in any further expansion to this set.

Those ceilings, doors and windows makes me want to instantly buy this!! BEAUTIFUL! 😍

I wanted to do an Argossean/Aquilonian city build for a long time. As soon as i heard this extension was coming out, i starting laying the foundations. I bought this set immediately when it came out and absolutely love it. It only needs a few extra pieces like you said, curved gable ends and for me i would like to see a single tile skylight. Having to use a 2x2 is frustrating when i normally build in odd numbers

looks very nice, can't wait to see what you will build with it!

I bought this set immediately, and after building a couple of fortresses I notices something. While argossean set is obviously Greek inspired, this set adds a weird "Gondor" vibe

Thanks as always. I purchased it instantly but waited for your detailed review anyway.

I'll be the first one to admit I didn't hesitate to buy it since I did enjoy the Argossean set when playing on a character who effectively utilizes the white, blues, and golds well. However, I almost always ended up using the Stormglass because that set when combined with the Cathedral is just so nice for a temple styled base. However, with how it looks, I will be excited to see what I can make with the Argossean and Observatory sets for the main base.

Thank you for this. I was interested in it but do to limited money and disapointment with the pricess for a lot of there things i was u sure if i wanted to get it. Was waiting to see what you had to say so again, thank you for this. im going to get it and it looks like fun to use. hopefully the scholars bund or something like it can fit well with it (for a better price than the scholar bundle first came out as)

It looks nice, personally I'm not a big fan of these pieces but who knows, maybe later down the road after I see some different builds, I'll be inspired to pick it up. Thanks for the review. It's great as always 👍

I've been largely burnt out on Conan the last few months, but this may make me redownload just to get it for the chance I feel like building again. Thanks for the review cause if it wasn't a good set I would definitely not be so tempted.

I am very much looking forward to building with this set. Glad that you gave it a great rating, though, as I always like hearing your thoughts on new bundles.

lol I just built a tower base, after buying the pack and watching this video I needed those stairs badly 🙌

I bought this set and have no regrets. I really like the pieces that they added. I agree that Argossean didn't need an expansion to feel complete but I welcome the additional pieces.

You mentioned some pieces that you think they should have added to the new set. I wish they made the quarter pillars look like the round pillar from the original Argossean set. The new quarter pillar looks like the Aquilonian pillar to me.

I've found that using a ceiling tile at the end of each spiral segment helps it to line up better.

I started playing Conan again recently after a 3 year break, all these Bazaar items are new to me but this one I'll be buying when it's available. Looks nice and I use the Argossean DLC a lot so it will be a nice add on.

I like the glass like pieces, I instantly bought it to replace the stormglass clear wall pieces and it is a major improvement. But yea I was slightly annoyed with placing the spiral stairs.
