The US Presidents dive into the jungle depths to play a wild game of Mario Party 8 in DK's Treetop Temple! As the party goes on, the chaos multiplies, and the ending is truly one of the plot twists of all time! And this all happened organically and no retakes were done! 🙌

This was such an epic project that I'm super happy to finally release! The project started a couple months ago with the thought of doing a video on Mario Party 8, because it is one of my favourite games of all time, a true childhood classic for me. After doing some planning and running some tests, I was excited to see that online multiplayer Mario Party 8 through Dolphin Netplay was viable (even without wii remotes for those who wouldn't have one), so there would be no need for CPU players. 🤖

However, we discovered that Dolphin Netplay started to struggle when running with a full 4 player party, and the game became too choppy to turn into a video. But then we tried out Parsec, and amazingly, it worked like a charm! 🌟


From the start of the whole project to the end, I spent around 200 hours, but I'm super happy with how it ended up. And I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it! And if you're curious on the statistics of the party, the screenshots of the details pages are in the description. 📃

Also, if you're wondering why the game looks much better than usual, it's because I have used x3 native resolution upscaling in Dolphin, MP8 widescreen hack (which is also why there are a few graphical issues on the edges of the screen at certain sections), and an HD texture pack which is linked in the description if you'd like to check it out yourself. 👌
