I absolutely LOVE this game. I didn't know it would have such an effect on me. I grew up with The Legend of Zelda, I had a Nintendo Power subscription and got Dragon Warrior for free and played it to death. This game is a love letter to those early Nintendo fantasy games. If you played those games as a child like I did, and you grew up, and you still play games, and you never lost that child-like sense of wonder, you will fall in love with this game. Even the manual will take you back. Big and colorful.

This game is so underrated.  Fucking loved it and can't wait to play through it again.  Oh and the music DOES NOT get repetitive.. at least not to me it didn't.

I just got this game from amazon last week. I absolutely love it! The silly references to games past in both gameplay and dialogue are funny and bring back fond memories of old school games. I also love the music. I don't think it's too redundant. I'm buying this for my brother as well. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quality game that focuses on making gameplay fun and not selling out to just a poor game with killer graphics

@ItzAmazingBrian It's an upgrading system in the game. You can purchase extra length and width to your sword. However, once you lose life, the sword will decrease in size.

This is what games should be all about, FUN!!! Not excessively realistic graphics, comllicated stories or amazing CG cutscenes, just pure mindless fun. Thanks Sony for creating this masterpiece.

Found this game for 12 dollars in perfect shape case and book today. I never have played it but I always wanted to. I'm really enjoying it so far
