Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2 Subwoofer Review || 8' || P2D2-8 / P2D4-8

My 5 month review of the RF Punch Stage 2 subs I put in my car. I like them. So far nothing I can think of as a negative.

I agree with a previous post. I think the 500rms amp is not pumping in all the juice. If I were you, I would check that gain to make sure it is properly adjusted, and what would be excellent is to add audiocontrol dsp between head unit and amp to really isolate that low frequency signal and give it all to the subs.... Even though you are satisfied with them now, but a pair like that would make you amazed... Trust me! But then again, this is just my own opinion. If you like 'em the way they are, then continue doing just that.

I think you need more rms power out of amplifier. I have similar stuff 2x P2D4 and RF 501s (1x500watt rms bridged - the speackers doesn't work as they could)

hey man, So I like quality and thump. I'm thinking about getting two 15". Would this shake the cars next to me and have quality as well?

they move inna big car also, , you needa good crossover, and a 1000 watt fosgate amp..

It doesn't seem like you're amp is pushing those well. They sound amazing as a 4 speaker sub box. Very tight accurate bass.

There's no way that amp is putting out 500w. They flex way more than that. Should go with a fosgate amp instead of a JVC.
