Thank you for recognizing the recent achievments of women and women of color in politics. We have an important voice that for a long time was undervalued and ignored.

I am truly grateful that 538 posted this video. Highlighting the tenacity of Women of Color to gain political power despite the lack of support many times from the parties' establishment is greatly appreciated. When I read the negative comments and see the lack of viewership compared to other comparable videos posted by your group, I constantly think of the poem, Still I Rise by Maya Angelou. Thanks, Women of Color for fighting to maintain our democracy and 538 for telling the story, our voices need to be heard even if there are people who do not want to listen.

This episode received more negative comments than positive comments. The humans discussed are neither male nor pale. The comments show the headwinds they face every day.
