Mexican Independence Day Parade returns for its 77th year

Why so many haters? Irish, Cubans, Germans, Puerto Ricans and Italians have a day and get a parade. We all contribute to this country.

Makes sense because the west coast was Mexican. Until the the USA annexed it. It’s like saying why are we celebrating Hawaiian and Native American culture! Yeah hypocrites.. you’ll could celebrate your colonial and European culture and never see nobody whining! Plus the Americans where the first immigrants migrating to Texas and the western coast states before they annexed the states!

Just call it Mexican-American culture. The culture was mixed in from the beginning so yes Mexican culture has contributed a lot to the West coast states! They should also have American flags and clothing!
