Don’t bother applying to university any more. No point unless you just want to have a massive debt. When I went to London University 30 years ago I only 4% of the UK went. No point in uni now. Just get a job and save yourself the massive debt. In my day I didn’t have to pay fees.

Any institution that fails to support freedom of speech should have all government funding removed immediately. It should also be a condition of students being offered a place that the support freedom of speech and diversity of opinion. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

Why should Rod Liddle apologize if you don't like what he said leave or challenge it in debate that is called freedom of speech. When that freedom is taken away we have a regime like that of Stalin or Hitler. Orwellian dystopian world comes to mind, how correct he was.

Good for the Principal for his remarks but he should not have apologised. No-one is being forced to listen, if you don't like it dont go or if you do go leave if it upsets you. Seems students are only learning how to be outraged at everything. I thought the point was to have your views challenged and learn how to think critically.
