Albanese Labor government are 'coming for your gas appliances'

Nationals MP Keith Pitt says the government are “coming for your gas appliances” as Labor push for the Australian public to use electric devices instead.

“The best way to get power prices down is to have more demand … that’s how Labor works,” Mr Pitt told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“They’re coming for your gas appliances, they’ve said as much, particularly in Victoria and I just think it’s nuts.”

I am sitting here with gloves jacket and a beanie inside my house as the landlord got a free Government Funded (our taxes) electric heater replacement even though I did not want it and can't afford to turn it on.

Will Australia remain the world's largest exporter of gas? Meanwhile all new suburbs in Canberra already have no gas supply to them. ACT will switch off all gas supply from 2045. I assume rest of Australia will follow. Gas appliances will become worthless.
