Diablo 3 RoS: Act 5 final boss: Malthael, the Angel of Death (monk solo)

Malthael is the end game boss of Reaper of Soul. The fight is quite a challenge, though not as hard as that of Diablo imo.

Phase One: he chases you and occasionally charges at you. Get out of range when he has whirlwind surrounding him as it does a lot of damage. Watch out areas of white mist which damage and slow you. Time to time, he teleports to center of the arena and channels spirits out of him, which are not hard to dodge. The real killer is the circling skulls that gradually converge to the center. If you are not careful and collide with several skulls, it can be instant death. He also summons some minions, which are not much of a threat as long as you kill them quickly. Remember that you can use the health cauldrons at each side of the arena when needed.

Phase Two: The boss keeps chasing and charging at you. Now after he teleports to center, he send out several red balls to all direction, which then turn into fire. Immediately after that, he waves his huge red wings which damage half of the area. If you are fast, you can move to his back to avoid. Otherwise, use damage immune skill if you have, or make sure you have full health to eat the damage.

p.s. This video was recorded during an Campaign mode game but the fight is virtually the same in Adventure mode.
