It has a good vintage crunch tone. Just needs a mid-sweep and perhaps a little more kick in the power section.

Is it possible to use it without a cab?
When I plug headphones in, can I still get a DI signal?

Thinking to put it in our live rack, and we use no cabs.

I've got a 8 ohm cabinet... What about using the VT Bass 500 reducing the power (300Watt)? Would I have volume enough to play any kind of rock music?
