Canyon or a new upcoming bike brand should start sponsoring this man, like fully all the way!
What a legend!

I hate it when I'm out doing something fun, just having good time and accidentally qualify for Kona. Definitely identify with this guy.

Thanks for showing that side of Pro racing. Good to see that he pushed through hard times without giving up on being a pro athlete. That uncertainty must have been such a tough time for him mentally.
Also inspiring to see that tech isn’t everything :)

The difference between Kyle Smith’s humility and many of the other athletes we see in triathlon is hugely refreshing.

This is brilliant, shows that a good athlete trumps expensive kit any day. Good luck, hope you continue to go far.

This is a kind reminder that in the end of the day, the only thing that matters is watts and fitness

Neat video. You should do a video on his position since that’s more important than the bike itself.

is this the guy who had to race with only one aerobar because the other one broke on the course ?

Aotearoa's finest! How does this kid not have a sponsor yet? While we're at it, he also needs a sponsor for some new sandals/jandals there too! 🤞🤣

Good luck to Kyle but I think luck is always on his side except for the crashes. A humble man he is and I wish him the best in his career.

I didn’t realise Cervelo P3 he replaced was so slow

If Scott are watching surely they can afford to give Kyle a Plasma 6 and he can train on the one he got from FB marketplace.

Looks like one arm rest is already bent or on a different angle to the other? Is this why it broke off in the race I wonder
